Spinach and paneer cheese (suitable for ekadasi)

*if you want the dish to be perfect for ekadasi just throw out the powder spices and add extra virgin olive oil, dried parsley and oregano;-)


Easy and fast, in non-ekadasi days goes great with yellow rice and pastries.


1 kg spinach, washed, cleaned and finely chopped,

100 ml cooking cream,

300 gr of fresh young cheese (paneer), cut into cubes,

2 teaspoons salt,

half a teaspoon of turmeric, garam masala, chilli and sweet pepper (optional).

Extra virgin olive oil, dried parsley, oregano (optional).


Cook spinach for about 5 min. Add to this cooking cream, cubes of paneer cheese and spices. Cook for another 5 minutes and serve warm with ekadasi potatoes and some salad.
