Relaxing Tibetan tea

This formulation is used to relax and relieve stress, and is traditionally believed to prolong life expectancy.


• 5 g grated ginger
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons honey
• pinch of cayenne pepper
• pinch of anise


Boil 2l of water and let it boil for five minutes.

Cool the water for a little bit  and add the grated ginger, lemon juice, two tablespoons of honey and a pinch of chilli pepper and anise.

You can drink the tea  during the day or drink a cup before each meal. That quantity of tea is scheduled for three or four people.
