Broccoli croquettes

Croquettes are a fine addition to various dishes. Most often they are made from potatoes. Here is a recipe for Broccoli croquettes. Broccoli adds green color on the plate as well as many vitamins. Here’s a recipe.



225 g of chickpeas flour,
2 teaspoons of salt,
½ teaspoons of baking powder,
300 ml of cold water,
700 g broccoli (sliced on flowers),
Spices as desired (asafoetida, turmeric, coriander, hot pepper),
extra virgin olive oil or as desired…


In a large bowl stir the chickpeas flour, spices, salt, and baking powder.
Slowly pour cold water and mix until a smooth dough is obtained, enough to stick on vegetables.
Heat the oil. Place a few broccoli flowers in the dough and squeeze them well so that the dough completely covers each flower.
Take out each flower and place it quickly in oil. Simultaneously fry several Croquettes until they get golden-brown color and become crunchy.
Remove them and put them in the grid to cushion. Serve with hot rice and boiled vegetables.
