Pizza With Vegetables On The Grill

Here we bring you a recipe for a pizza in the Mediterranean style.


Ingredients for 4 people: 500 grams of dough for pizza, 200 grams of tomato sauce, 300 grams of Gouda or Emmentaler cheese (grated) – or mozzarella (sliced), 2 peppers, 1 zucchini, 1 eggplant, 1 onion, 2 bundles of basil, 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil , salt and pepper.

Method of preparation: Wash the basil, dry it, chop finely, and add 2 tablespoons of it in dough for pizza. Clean the peppers and cut them into strips. Clean the zucchini and eggplant and cut them lengthwise. Peel the onion and chop it. Heat the pan and bake vegetables on the grill. Vegetables cut into cubes and place them in a bowl with onions. Season with salt, pepper and a little oil, stir and let stand. Stretch the dough and place it in a greased pan to bake. After that, on the dough spread the tomato sauce and bake in preheated oven for about 7 minutes at 250 degrees Celsius. Remove the pizza from the oven and spread on the dough vegetables and cheese. Lower the temperature to 200 degrees and continue to bake for another 10 minutes.
