For the Relaxing afternoon with the family or with a good book, try a recipe for homemade tea-bread with lemon flavour.

It is nice to lovers of sponge desserts, homemade bread and pastries, but also to all those who in the cold days, with your favorite hot drink, want something tasty and easy to prepare.



150 ml of milk
juice and rind of one lemon
4 tablespoons butter
150 grams of brown sugar or other sweetener if desired
200 grams of flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder.


In a bowl, mix milk and lemon juice and leave for a few minutes until the milk does not get clot.
In another bowl, mix foamy butter and sugar. Add lemon peel and sifted flour with baking soda, and milk with lemon.
Mix well and pour into the prepared mold.
Bake 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, and then check the middle of the breads with a toothpick. If is not yet baked (on the stick remains the trace of mixtures), leave it in the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

When lemon-bread is baked, remove it from the oven and leave for 10 minutes to get cool.

Then remove them from mold and cut into slices, when it is completely cooled.
