Homemade mayonnaise with cheese – without eggs

The magic combination of cottage cheese and flax oil.


Omega mayonnaise ingredients:
1 cup fresh quark or cottage cheese,
2 tablespoons of flax oil,
1 teaspoon of mustard,
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice,
freshly ground pepper, to taste,
some water.


All the ingredients mix well with stick blender or in a blender until the mixture is smooth like a classic mayonnaise. It is best to serve it immediately. If this mayonnaise is used as a salad dressing, you can add a little water. By adding a variety of spices, such as little chopped garlic (i better prefer to add little of asafoetida powder), basil, dill, etc., you will get a new version of the basic recipe and in that way you will get more rich flavors of your salad. For example, half a teaspoon of curry powder will always contribute to more exotic taste. If you add little turmeric you will get healthy ingredients and, by the way, much more of yellow colour. Enjoy it!
