Fried Cucumbers at Indian Style

Ingredients: 2 cucumbers; For the dough: 1 cup flour of chickpeas, ½ teaspoon salt, half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon of saffron, 2 teaspoons ground coriander, oil for frying. Method of preparation: Mix chickpeas flour, spices and water and then knead the dough (as for pancakes) and let it rest. During this time, peel the cucumbers and cut them into half-inch thick slices. Each ring of cucumber dip in batter and fry in plenty of oil until you get golden brown color on both sides. Drain them from the oil and serve hot with a green salad or a spicy sauce. You can also add the rice and Indian sabji, if you want a richer meal.

Before grinding a Chickpeas, you can fry them a little.
