Christmas Dessert – Hazelnut Nest

They are ideal for formal and festive occasions as they can be prepared several days in advance.
Ingredients: 2 dl water, 200 grams of sugar, 150 gr. margarine or butter, 100 gr. chocolate, 150 gr. of ground roasted hazelnuts, 250 gr. ground biscuits, ground hazelnut, nutella.
Preparation: Put the water, sugar, butter and chocolate in a saucepan on low heat to boil. Remove from stove and than add the biscuit and hazelnut. When the mass becomes cool enough, form balls with wet hands, roll the balls into the ground hazelnut and then make with the thumb a hole in the ball. Pour the Nutella in the syringe to decorate and fill the nest. Allow to cool to a good refreshing temperature, preferably, overnight.
