The classic way to prepare kale is on steam. Such preparation can preserve all its nutrients, and takes only 10 minutes. But if you want to try more creative recipes, it is good to know that kale can be prepared in countless ways. You can simmer it, filled with stuffing, bake or fry. With kale, you can prepare all kinds of meals, from appetizers and soups to main dishes or side dishes. It is great for stews, salads, healthy green smoothies, pies and so on. Braised kale with cashew nuts

Ingredients: 300 g kale squarehead, 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 100 g cashew nuts, 1 red pepper. ½ teaspoon ground chilli, 1 teaspoon cumin, Himalayan salt and pepper (to taste), 6 tablespoons oil. Method of preparation: In hot oil fry onion and garlic until they get a golden color. Add peppers, spices, cashews and kale and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with rice.

Kale on the Thai way

Ingredients: 1 large bunch kale, 1 tablespoon sesame oil for cooking, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon ground chilli (or to taste), sesame seeds, Himalayan salt and pepper (to taste). Method of preparation: Separate the leaves of kale, wash them and remove the stems. Put them in a larger bowl with boiling salted water and cook for 1-3 minutes. When it starts to change color to a brighter, remove from heat and insert it into another bowl with cold water. Wait until the leaves are completely cooled down. Cold kale drain and gently press to remove the excess water. In a roasting pan, put the soy sauce and sesame oil, on low heat. Cut kale into smaller pieces and put them on the oil. Add chili and stirr. Warm up kale over low heat. Do not fry. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately while hot.

Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup kale, 1 cup spinach, ½ banana, ¼ cup blueberries, 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil, Ceylon cinnamon (to taste), ice cubes.
Method of preparation: Put all ingredients into a blender, and mix well. Drink immediately and enjoy a delicious Smoothie full of vitamins and other nutrients.
