If you know the right way of combining and the use of spices, these skills can be our daily dose of health because spices are full of medicinal properties and their proper use can become our routine in maintaining the health and general well-being of body and mind. So many Ayurvedic preparations are using synergy spices, for thousands of years, thus confirming a strong healing effect and ayurvedic cuisine used them so often, turning their magical aroma into source of health and gourmet pleasure. Different spices have a different role in strengthening the immune properties in this mixture, the most important role to play is on these three spices: turmeric, cumin and fennel, while the other, with its qualities, synergistically contribute to the strengthening of this ayurvedic formula.
INGREDIENTS: 6 tsp turmeric, 3 teaspoon cumin seeds, 3 tsp coriander seeds, 6 teaspoon fennel seeds, 1 teaspoon ginger powder, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. The mixture is preferably added to all foods, especially those of vegetables (stews, sauces, meals prepared in a wok …). PREPARATION: The seeds in these quantities shortly fry (in the the pan, without oil) and grind them in a mortar. When cool, add the other ingredients in the powder, stir them and store in a dry, airtight container. This mixture can spice up dishes of your choice and taste. Thus prepared and properly stored mix, can stand and be valid for use for several months.
