This tasty drink for cold days will warm you up with warm aromas of spices and its beautiful color. If you need extra doses of heat, mix it with milk and warm up this healthy potion. For 2 cups of beverage you need: 300 ml yogurt or milk, 200 g of boiled or baked pumpkin, diced, 1-2 tablespoons of honey, agave nectar or rice malt, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground ginger, ¼ teaspoon ground cloves, pinch of freshly grated nutmeg. Method of preparation: Put all ingredients in a blender and mix them well. If you make your drink with milk, you can warm it up at low heat ( add honey, make sure that your drink do not become overheated, or add honey only at the end, when your drink is a little cooler). The color of a pumpkin shows that these foods are rich source of beta carotene. Beta carotene is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body from the effects of free radicals, strengthens the immune system and prevents the development of malignant tumors. With it, there are also the vitamins C, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B6, folic acid, and mineral content of potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron.
